Anyone aged 8-16 and who is struggling with literacy. In line with best practice, I do not screen any child under the age of 8 years old.
I use GL Assessments to inform my screening programme. The computer-based screener aims to highlight varying degrees of dyslexic tendencies. It contains 6 assessments which test problem solving ability, information processing and word-level processing.
I will guide your child through the screening process. All screenings take place in my tutor room in Earls Colne and can take up to one hour to complete. On the same day a report will be generated with the findings of the screener.
